We Must Protect the Sanctity of Marriage to Stop Divorce

Filed under: Relationships & More — admin @ 12:01 am

Why get married if it does not mean anything any more? Why stay married if no one seems to care? Why get married if marriage is no longer between a man and woman. Marriage is between a man and a woman, indeed the way nature had intended it to be.

Recently when I mentioned to a gay and lesbian activist, actually a stated transsexual, that the gay fringe was causing a huge rift between the straight and gay populations, she, he or it? Stated that “You really think you have a knack for dividing queer people, don’t you? It really is something.”

Meaning, that my comment was trying to divide their groupings. Interesting as she, he or it, or whatever seemed to consider my observations were to attack, divide and conquer the gay community. Well, no, yet I understand having studied Machiavellian Theory, Sun Tzu, Carl von Clauswitz, Colonel Boyd, Primate Politics and Guerilla Warfare what it was saying here. And I am sorry if it took it that way.

Indeed my only comment here is that the fringe group, who will violate others rights and break the law to push their agenda, is doing so at the expense of your group and indeed causing the G & L Community to look rather unfit to lead. I suggested mentoring this fringe and even using their abundant energies to propel your agenda, rather than allowing it to create such random animosity that it turns off the silent majority to listen to their reasoning.

So, in actuality one could say that I was helping their cause not hurting it, with relevant issues, observation and advice. You see, if gays and lesbians get married, who cares? Doesn’t matter to me one bit. But I just do not see it happening right now or soon if the fringe keeps setting back the voice of reason and a rational call for equal rights under the law. Pointing that fact out is hardly anti-gay, bigotry or homophobic. Consider this in 2006.

Reasons For Divorce; What Constitutes Viable Reasons For Thinking About Or Wanting A Divorce?

Filed under: Relationships & More — admin @ 6:02 am

According to the Center for Disease Control’s National Vital Statistics Report of 2002, 50% of first marriages ended in divorce and 60% of remarriages end in divorce. But, the Center for Disease Control also found that 96% of Americans express a personal desire for marriage, and almost three-quarters of Americans believe marriage is a life long commitment. I imagine that there are somewhat similar statistics worldwide.

With these kinds of statistics, its easy to see how complex it can be when people think they want a divorce, they have difficulty identifying how a truly viable divorce reason might be defined. Wanting happiness through marriage and wrestling with what may seem an inevitable outcome (a divorce), can be emotionally and mentally challenging. After all, it is human nature to want to feel nurtured and secure, no matter where you live!

So, if you’re thinking about getting a divorce, what are truly valid reasons for actually getting a divorce?

Each government has different laws defining the difference between ‘fault’ and ‘no-fault’ divorce reasons that have enough merit that allow for the divorce to be granted. While it makes sense for you to keep this in mind when deciding whether or not to get a divorce because there may be financial considerations to think of, you should first focus on defining your own emotional or “personal” divorce reasons, regardless of what the local governing body says.

If you ask 100 people how they define viable reasons for wanting a divorce, you’ll most likely get 100 different answers because they’ll answer you from their perspective, not yours. Sure, there may be similarities to the way you feel in some of those answers about ‘real’ divorce reasons, you may even agree with some. But, the real answers to this question can only come from you. You have to figure out what reason or reasons would be viable in your mind in order to actually go through your decision about getting a divorce or staying married.

Some reasons that people give for getting a divorce, or wanting a divorce, are purely selfish and have no substance. An example of a reason for wanting a divorce that has no substance is not liking the fact that your spouse has constant unfounded jealousy. There is a deeper problem that exists here, and in the case of this example, it could be that the spouse who constantly feels jealousy has a confidence problem or some sort of ‘fear of loss’. Whatever the case, the divorce reason in this example clearly isn’t viable and should relatively easy to fix.

Often times when people give ’surface’ or flimsy reasons for wanting a divorce, they really have much deeper feelings about something and they’re just using the shallow divorce reason as an avoidance of some kind. Or, they give these ‘foundation-less’ reasons for wanting a divorce because they actually aren’t aware that there are other deeper rooted reasons that are the cause of the way they feel now.

Common reasons that cause people to think about or want to get a divorce:

*Couple has conflicting personal beliefs
*Couple’s marital satisfaction decreases
*Desertion
*Adultery
*Cruel treatment
*Bigamy
*Imprisonment
*Spousal Indignities
*Institutionalization
*Irretrievable Breakdown of some kind

Of course, you should add your own reasons to the list for wanting a divorce, better yet, make your own list of what may be ‘valid’ reasons. Solid divorce reasons for wanting or going through a divorce usually come from some sort of occurrence, behavioral pattern, and/or change in the viewpoint of the marriage itself.

In order to really make a smart divorce decision, you should first list the reasons that you have for wanting a divorce, then examine those divorce reasons for true viability. Then come back to it that list in a day or so. Chances are you will be able to scratch a few of those reasons for wanting a divorce off the list because they were identified purely from an emotional viewpoint rather than logic.

If you are thinking about getting a divorce, and haven’t clearly identified what reasons you have for feeling the way you do, you’ll be doing yourself a ‘dis-service’ if you act without carefully examining the viability each designated divorce reason. Everyone has their own reasons for wanting a divorce, make sure that you are certain that your reasons are truthfully viable to you before you act on them.

What You Need to Know About Alimony

Filed under: Relationships & More — admin @ 6:36 am

Alimony, or spousal support is a court ordered payment from the spouse who earns the highest income to the other spouse. Alimony laws exist to help a spouse ease into life after divorce; it prevents the person from having to drastically lower his or her standard of living after a divorce. Financial situations in which both couples are employed usually do not merit spousal support payment.

When presiding over a divorce settlement and deciding whether to issue a court order for alimony, the judge will consider several factors such as the length of the marriage, the economical dependence of one spouse on the other, their respective ages and how well they conduct themselves in court.

One important piece of divorce information regarding alimony is that it qualifies as a tax deduction to the spouse who pays it, while the person who receives alimony must pay taxes on it. Child support, on the other hand, is neither tax deductible to the person who pays it nor is it taxable to the person who receives it.

If it would result in a tax advantage for both parties, it may be sound divorce advice to consider paying alimony regardless of what the judge would rule. That’s one way of keeping a divorce low cost. As a result, coping with divorce can be much easier for everyone.

When making decisions about how to get a divorce or when looking into divorce support, keep your tax goals in mind. If you consult with a professional for divorce help, be sure that the attorney or financial advisor considers both your present financial situation and your long-term tax goals.

Are you willing to go out and purchase a speedboat and want money

Filed under: Loans Center, Finance Web, Credit Sources — admin @ 1:21 pm

A moneylender in Bellingham Washington or so can have a total different actual interest rate for a 27500 dollar loan then a bank in Kennewick Washington and that makes a large clear difference in your yearly costs. That’s the reason why now you really need to inquire and check if you can have a bank loan at a beneficial percent rate.

Be impudent today to investigate if you have a bargain or if you don’t with the merchant bank that offers you a money loan. Examine to see if the moneylender who is willing to give you a loan is ok. At present you can suss out rates of interest quickly online and discover if there are other possible traps you should be aware of. 14.1 percent rate of interest may come out so good but will that be unremitting after you have to repay your credit loan. It makes no difference if you live in Fresno California or in Johnson City Tennessee a effective online examination will economize you often a lot of pain. Lots of of the banks wil show you a loan rate that looks just but feels naughtily or so after some time.

Divorce Avoidance: Part 4, Talk Your Way Out of It

Filed under: Relationships & More — admin @ 2:52 pm

Your divorce can be avoided with the use of one of the most powerful relationship restoring tools available.

What caused my divorce more than 20 years ago was uncontrolled and abusive language. And what has enabled me to never again face its crippling impact - is Mouth Management.

When my wife began hurling hurtful words at me I responded in like manner with equally angry words. That was my single biggest mistake as it only caused the rage between us to rise.

We were living outside of Christ and suffered a bitter divorce.

Two years later we found ourselves on the same Sunday on different sides of town in two different Churches standing before a congregation and proclaiming Jesus was Lord and Master of our lives.

We only knew of this special event when we met for coffee a week later.

And we noticed something had changed. Many things actually - but this really stood out for us.

We had a fresh love for one another and the rage was gone.

In confessing Jesus as Lord of our lives we had begun to use the words of our mouth as they were intended.

To speak kindly and considerately to one another. To give one another regular compliments and encouragement.

We were gloriously remarried a few weeks later.

Whenever the old issues started to rekindle rage we thought on the verse in Proverbs - a soft answer turns away wrath.

And the power of life and death is in the tongue. We think on that truth often.

Mouth Management has become a daily goal for us and we regularly talk strife out of our married life.

You too can have a lifelong divorce avoidance program when you commit yourself to Mouth Management.

Divorce: How To Survive A Divorce And Move On With Your Life

Filed under: Relationships & More — admin @ 4:39 am

One out of every two marriages in America is failing.

American families are crumbling and vanishing.

Most families have become dysfunctional, and it is widely
becoming fashionable to come from a dysfunctional
family.

Divorce is on the rise all the time.

Your self-esteem - what you think of yourself in relation to
other people - is the basic secret of your success or failure in
life.

Here are some marital insights to help you survive a divorce
and live the rest of your life happily.

It’s really as simple as that… Think well of yourself, and
you’ll do well.

Think disparagingly of yourself, and you’ll probably not do
very well at all .

It is natural to have a low self-esteem after going through a
divorce.

In fact, the blow dealt to one’s self-esteem by divorce is
lethal and crushing enough to drive anyone to the brink
of insanity.

There may be very justifiable reasons to end a marriage
and get a divorce.

The way I see it, it should be preferable to end a problematic
Marriage than to stay and keep suffering, being abused and
endangering one’s life.

This is common sense.

It makes a great sense to end the marriage , seek a
divorce and find a much better partner in life.

Nobody is above making a mistake.

But when you make a mistake in the choice of your life
partner, be reasonable to realize it, end the marriage,
find another partner and continue with your life.

There are billions of human beings on earth, and one should
be able to find a compatible partner to continue one’s life.

When a marriage ends in divorce, one should have a good
attitude about it.

But this not always easy for most spouses.

They tend to continue to remain attached to their ex-partners.

They continue to agonize over the break-up and blame
each other for the failure.

They are filled with anger, self-loathing, regrets, anxiety and
frustration due to the failed marriage.

They continue to let the memories about the failed marriage
linger on.

After a divorce, the correct attitude will be to consider the
marriage dead and let go of all feelings regarding it and move
on with ones’s life.

It may take sometime for you to go through the necessary healing
that has to take place before you are able to recognize and enjoy happiness again.

Even so, the most important and the very first thing you must do
following the break-up of any kind of relationship, is to get
started on the rebuilding of your self-esteem.

This means that you have to accept the fact that neither you or
anyone else is perfect - determine that you will learn from your
mistakes - and that you will become whatever it is you aspire to
be.

Immediately, do something that makes you feel good - something
you’ve been wanted to do for some time - or always wanted to
do.

This could be getting a new hair-do, buying a new suit,
enrolling in a special self-improvement course, starting a
new job or business, or even taking an extended vacation.

You may also relocate and move to another city.

This is one way of leaving all memories of the failed
marriage behind.

You mustn’t lock yourself in your house or apartment and
keep brooding over the failed marriage.

You mustn’t be afraid to get out and associate with people.

You mustn’t stop enjoying life!

You may have to force yourself, but you must “forget” about
mourning your loss and continue with your life.

You must go on with your life with a stronger determination
than ever, to be the person you want to be.

Don’t “beat yourself over the head” with feelings of guilt.

Get rid of your anger as quickly as possible.

Forget about the past. Focus on the present and the future.

Get on with the rest of your life without delay!

Revitalize those ambitions that have been “hidden away” in the
back of your mind, and consider this particular time in your
life as an opportunity for a new start.

Do some introspection relative to what it is you want out of life;
reorganize your time and efforts to attain those objectives; and
go for it with all you’ve got!

The way you feel about yourself has a strong reflection on the
way you feel about others.

When things are not quite right, the first thing that
needs to be changed is your disposition - your attitude,
feelings towards other people, and your emotional responses.

Think about your facial expressions and the tone of your voice
when you’re talking with other people.

Being aware of these things with consideration towards other
people, will “bring you out of your-self” and allow other people
to want to know more about you.

You have to forget about and let go of, the past.

Anything and everything that happened yesterday is long gone
and cannot be changed.

You have the rest of your life from this moment on, to
achieve love - happiness - fame and fortune.

Whatever it is you want in life can be yours.

All that’s necessary to make any dream come true is a true
understanding of what you want, and determination on your
part to make it all happen according to your plan.

Think about what you want -prepare yourself to get it -
focus your efforts on the fulfillment of your ambitions -
and there’s nothing that can stop you from total realization!

If you’re a man, after divorce, desist from condemning
all the women as devils.

Just because your marriage didn’t work out with one woman
doesn’t mean that all women are evil.

If you’re a woman, after your divorce, don’t conclude that
all men are evil.

Just because your marriage didn’t work out with one man
doesn’t mean that all men are evil.

It is also not a good reason to become a lesbian!

There are billions of men in the world.

If it doesn’t work with one man, it may work with another,
so go for it.

So, the first thing relative to rebuilding one’s self-esteem -
following a divorce, or the loss of a loved one by any
circumstances - is to understand why you hurt, and what is
necessary in order to be happy again.

It is essential that you think of YOURSELF in terms of the kind
of life you want for yourself; know that you can have it all
because you’ve laid the foundation, done your homework,
and you’re on a positive road towards achievement; and then
get busy “making tracks” in that direction.

In simple terms - it hurts, but you’re not dead - you’re only
wasting time thinking about or rehashing the past because
there’s no way anything that happened yesterday or the day
before can be changed - so quickly pick up the pieces, and get
on with your life!

May these insights about life after divorce help you to find a
new meaning in life and to move on and prosper and be
happy for the rest of your life.

An Introduction to Income Draw down Pensions - Financial Advise

Filed under: Finance Web — admin @ 1:28 am

When you retire from service you do not have to get out your pension fund then and there. Instead, you could well make up your mind to postpone buying an income until the good old age of 75 & if you do so you may find you get a more profitable offer. It is known as income draw down.

When you are aged between fifty and 75 you are permitted to defer the tenure of your pension from one of a number of insurance corporations. Instead, you are allowed to take away up to one-hundred and twenty percent of the pension fund that could have been originally acquired using Government Actuary rates, & leave the remaining cash invested until you need it. On your part, all you need to do is to make sure you procure an annuity by the point you are seventy five years old. Find Independent Income Draw Down info at firstplacefinancial.co.uk.

Crucially, what would occur if you wished to take the income draw down selection, and then departed this world? If this did take place then your current wife or husband or those responsible would then get three choices: either to agree to a lump amount, minus tax at thirty five percent, or otherwise maintain with income extraction, or procuring an annuity with the investments. Your surviving partner has until they get to sixty years old to suspend the acquisition of an annuity, though no financial benefits are permitted to be offered in the interim period.

Why select income drawdown? Well predominately because it might end in you earning a more lucrative retirement wage from your existing pension by doing so. Secondly, you can pick specifically when you procured the pension annuity, this means that if you retire at a point in time when annuity rates are low, waiting may well be a clever decision. If the outstanding stocks mature as expected, then jointly with the reality that annuity rates increase with age, you may finally be able to procure a higher pension than you would have received initially.

In addition, it also means that when you pass on your significant other or dependants will benefit financially, because they are correctly entitled to the outstanding stocks, as pointed out above.

Like all investments, there are risks involved though. If asset performance on the remaining funds is poor, the extent of retirement salary payable can go down. And it is critical to consider that there is no reassurance that the pension acquired will in the end be more than the total figure that could have been procured at the outset.

Deciding on the Very Best High Speed Internet Access Offer

Filed under: Misc — admin @ 5:37 pm

When clients are viewing the high speed internet access landscape potential customers might often feel scared. The market is full with high speed internet access providers supplying tons of high speed broadband packages with varies upload and download speeds and download limitations.

You yourself might often want to find out about each high speed broadband organisation directly to find out what internet packages the supplier give, download speeds the firm provide and the business’ conditions and terms. If you desire to get this high speed broadband information in one website you yourself may want to look at an internet comparison website.

If you currently have a high speed internet package and wish to sign up to a faster company then nothing should deter you from trying a different company, especially if a benefit is to be made. Comparison companies may be able to show you yourself through the procedure and what steps may be taken. Find the best TalkTalk packages and deals with Compare Broadband UK.

When customers are researching for the most appropriate offer price may not be the only deciding factor. Various internet providers will advertise an unusually low entry package to get likely customers over to them. When packages are incredibly low in money please make sure you find out what broadband speed the broadband corporation will provide, what download allocation you will be provided with and also the terms of the internet contract. The download limits is important as many organisations may charge potential customers per Gigabyte that broadband users go over, so if your internet package has an 8 Gigabyte download limits and you yourself download ten horror movies that month, you are more than likely to have downloaded 10GB (i.e. one Gigabyte per movie) - that is 2GB’s beyond your limit, and which is two GB worth of downloads the company will probably charge over and above your monthly package charge.

When seeking the cheapest deal please additionally check whether or not the corporation will charge a sign up fee and if there are any costs associated with being given a wireless router. All of these further charges can all mount up and you yourself could be left with little savings when compared to other internet packages.

Thankfully, internet comparison corporations might mention any additional costs and browsers can make an informed and advised decision.

A Look into the Michigan Real Estate Market

Filed under: Real Estate Tips + More, Internet Information, Enterprise — admin @ 4:46 pm

The real estate market in Michigan is currently in distress and this is caused by certain factors primarily influenced by the state’s economy. In fact, Michigan is one of the few states experiencing enormous foreclosure problems. Interest rates are not the chief reason for this havoc; what caused subprime mortgages to fall out is because of the massive job losses in the state. Since 2001, Michigan has lost 300,000 jobs.

Michigan’s economy is concentrated in the auto industry. However, that industry is not doing well either. Michigan has lost 20,000 auto jobs from April 2006 to April 2007, aside from losing 26,600 non-auto jobs during the same period.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Michigan had an unemployment rate of 7.2% in February 2008 and it rose to 8.5% in July 2008. Michigan’s record of layoff events in all industries was 32 in February 2008, which drastically rose to 212 by July 2008. As a result, Michigan has seen a decline in its Gross Domestic Product (GDP), being ranked 23rd in national GDP in 2003 and then falling down to 35th in 2006. Three industries have actually been accounted for 80% of Michigan’s shrinking GDP, namely: construction, manufacturing, and government.

Without jobs, people are no longer able to afford their mortgages. Therefore, to address issues on the real estate market, Michigan should primarily focus on creating jobs.
